Working at Medavie

Full lives, full careers, fully committed

Our commitment to the wellbeing of Canadians starts with our team. At Medavie, we embrace that each of us has unique backgrounds, goals, and aspirations that influence how we define what a full life looks like.

As a team, our diverse experiences empower us, and our shared purpose unites us. Varied perspectives fuel the collaboration, innovation, and understanding that is central to our mission, and we believe that an environment where every individual is welcomed, heard, and given the opportunity to thrive is one that sets us all up for success.

Flexibility

The future of work

At Medavie, we believe the future of work is more flexible. More human.

To meet diverse needs, we offer flexible arrangements that promote wellbeing and work-life balance. For roles that allow it, employees can adjust start and end times, choose compressed schedules for extra days off, or work remotely on a hybrid or fully remote basis.

Flexibility reduces commuting, lowers stress, helps prevent burnout, and can be especially impactful for caregivers.

Beyond supporting people, flexible work benefits the environment by reducing emissions, energy use, and waste.

Wellbeing

Building a culture of wellbeing

Our Wellbeing Strategy reflects our inclusive, holistic approach to employee wellbeing and is built on the understanding that wellness is a personal journey that looks different for everyone. Centred around four pillars — physical, mental, financial, and social wellbeing — the Wellbeing Strategic Framework illustrates our shared vision for Medavie as an organization where all employees are empowered to thrive inside and outside of work.

Diversity

Empowering diverse voices

Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) are employee-led, self-directed groups of volunteers that draw from the diverse teams of professionals that make up our organization. At Medavie, ERGs encourage and empower diverse voices, offering members opportunities to network, share experiences and perspectives, engage in mentorship, and encourage professional development.

Our 2025 ERGs: Women in the Workplace; Diverse Abilities, Caregivers and Allies; and Rainbow Network.
