As a member of the 30% Club Canada, Medavie recognizes Canada’s distinct corporate governance framework and supports the aim of developing a diverse pool of talent through a commitment to better gender balance at all levels the organisation. Business leadership is key to the Club’s mission, taking the issue beyond a specialist diversity effort and into mainstream talent management.

Medavie views the 30% target as a minimum and, at present, at the board level exceeds this target. Medavie also recognizes that diversity goes beyond gender and seeks to actively consider all aspects of diversity when considering candidates as well as being inclusive when members indicate a diverse profile.
