At Medavie, we believe in good grant-making.

As part of our transparent and thorough review process, in 2014 we introduced a Community Council made up of employees from Medavie Blue Cross and Medavie Health Services.

These colleagues are active in their communities and understand the importance – and impact – of supporting community-based programs that make a difference in people’s lives. They’re committed to our review process and to supporting our mission of funding programs that act as catalysts for healthy change. Many of them have been touched in some way by our three core health causes - mental health, post-traumatic stress and type 2 diabetes.

To us, not only are they reviewers of grants, they’re also Medavie ambassadors. Please meet the members of our Community Council.
