Medavie Health NL (MHNL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Nadine McEvoy as its first Chief Operating Officer (COO) & Senior Director, Integrated Emergency Health Services, effective January 12, 2026.

This appointment marks a significant milestone for MHNL as the organization continues to strengthen its leadership team and advance its commitment of delivering high-quality, integrated health services across Newfoundland and Labrador, in alignment with Medavie’s mission to improve the wellbeing of Canadians so they can live fuller, healthier lives.

“Nadine brings extensive experience in healthcare leadership and system transformation,” shared Erik Sande, President, Medavie Health Services. “Her clinical expertise, understanding of Newfoundland and Labrador, and strategic vision will help ensure MHNL continues to deliver high-quality, responsive care to the people of Newfoundland and Labrador.”

“Having spent many years working within Newfoundland and Labrador’s health system, I am proud to assume this role with MHNL", said Nadine McEvoy. “I am committed to supporting our teams and partners in following through on a key call to action of Health Accord NL and build a modern and provincially integrated air and road ambulance system that serves the people and communities of this province.”

In her new role, Nadine will focus on optimizing operations, enhancing collaboration with our partners at NL Health Services and frontline teams, and driving improvements in patient outcomes. Her leadership will be instrumental in advancing MHNL’s vision of an integrated air and road ambulance system that meets the needs of communities across the province.
