Healthy joys
By staying active all year round, she and her family maintain their health. They ski, snowboard (Rosann was a youth ski instructor for five years at Martock where her children taught snowboard lessons), swim, hike, or go rock climbing at the local gym.
Rosann’s kids love to brag about their ‘old lady mom’ who can still climb all the way to the top of the wall.
Travel is still a passion. Rosann has gone parasailing in Switzerland and ziplined across the SkyDome. She and her husband often take “short trips” around the Maritimes and love any chance they get to walk along a beach.
She also enjoys the simple things like reading, puttering in her garden, and walking in her neighbourhood or on the riverside trail nearby. She sees housework and yard work as a chance to keep fit, joking that having a laundry room in the basement of a busy two-story home helps. She and Paul also regularly do a yoga-like routine in their “zen den.”
